Welcome to Holy Trinity Church
South Wimbledon

Holy Trinity steeple by Geoff HuntWe are an open, living, Christian community, seeking through our worship to make a difference in Wimbledon and the world.
We seek to celebrate and share the love of God for all; in prayer, reflection and action;
by listening, learning and growing together; through serving others and the wider world.

We welcome you to join us. We worship at 10 a.m and 6.30 p.m on Sundays, and there are services specially for children. See Services for details.

New Team Rector appointed - scroll down the page
The life of our church continues as usual while we are without a team rector.

Pastoral work continues with the help of our two Southwark Pastoral Auxiliaries (SPAs) Liz Hammond and our new SPA Sarah Hawtin. Please contact Liz and Sarah via the Parish Office or the Contact Us page of this website.

Sunday services are continuing as usual - see Services Diary.

Harvest breadPrayer

Almighty God,
you have created the heavens and the earth and made us in your own image:
teach us to discern your hand in all your works and your likeness in all your children;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit reigns supreme over all things, now and for ever. Amen

New Team Rector We are pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd Chris Palmer as our new Team Rector. He will be based at Holy Trinity, South Wimbledon, but will work across the whole Merton Priory Team. At the moment Chris is Team Vicar of All Saints in Mortlake with East Sheen Team Ministry, where he’s been for 7½ years, and serves as Area Dean for Richmond & Barnes. Chris will be starting with us at the end of May: the institution service is Wednesday 26 May, and his first Sunday service will be 30 May. Please remember Chris and his family in your prayers as he prepares for this transition.

Lent team evening services will be held at 6.30pm each Sunday throughout Lent at Christchurch Colliers Wood. The theme will be ‘A Journey Home? Past memories, present realities, future hopes’, following on from the joint parishes weekend. More details to follow.

Women's World Day of Prayer Friday 5 March, 8pm at Holy Trinity
